One market-regime score, with every input exposed.

TradeScout refuses to calculate the gauge when a required component is missing, stale, contradictory, or unverified.

How the compass reads

The published score is rounded to 0–100: 0–19 is Strongly Bearish, 20–39 Bearish, 40–59 Neutral, 60–79 Bullish, and 80–100 Strongly Bullish. The interface pairs every state with a text label, not color alone.

Why a score can disappear

A previous reading remains in history, but the current gauge is withheld if required evidence is too old, a parser fails, first-party and secondary evidence materially conflict, or a component cannot be verified. Withholding is a quality control—not a market opinion.

What accompanies a valid reading

A current score includes its label, change since the previous trading day, research timestamp, freshness description, two-sentence plain-English explanation, and the three strongest positive and negative contributors.
